Rebel Wolves has officially confirmed that Update 1.1 for The Blood of Dawnwalker is scheduled to launch next week. This release follows the studio's previous estimate of an early October window, though a precise calendar date remains unannounced.
The update introduces the Draught of Mind Rebirth, a new item allowing players to reset their Vampirism, Witchcraft, and Swordmastery skills. This feature is significant due to the game's strict 30-day time limit. Additionally, the developers are adding a new Story difficulty level featuring combat assists, while the current Story mode will be renamed to Forgiving.
Technical refinements include improved combat targeting, lock-on, and disengaging mechanics. Shadowstep and Planeshift abilities are designed to be more responsive, and the camera system has received adjustments. Furthermore, PC users will see updated frame generation settings, and the game now includes larger font sizes and subtitles for all dialogue.
The Blood of Dawnwalker, which debuted on September 3 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, achieved one million sales shortly after release. The update also removes blood and gore censorship from the Japanese version of the title.
