Capcom launched the Switch 2 versions of Resident Evil RE:2 Z Version Deluxe Edition, Resident Evil RE:3 Z Version, and Resident Evil RE:4 Gold Edition on October 16, 2026. These titles utilize the RE ENGINE for their remakes.
The RE:2 Deluxe Edition follows Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield in Raccoon City, including various existing DLC. RE:3 features Jill Valentine attempting to escape the city, though it excludes Resident Evil Resistance. RE:4 Gold Edition includes the base game and the Separate Ways scenario alongside other DLC.
Pricing is set at 3990 yen for RE:2, 2990 yen for RE:3, and 4990 yen for RE:4. A discount of 1000 yen is available for each title until November 7, reducing the prices to 2990 yen, 1990 yen, and 3990 yen respectively.
Digital versions are available now, while physical editions are scheduled for release on January 29, 2027. Capcom has also released new promotional footage and initiated a giveaway campaign for Nintendo prepaid cards to celebrate the launch.
