On October 16, 2026, Q-Games announced it will publish the Nintendo Switch 2 title Beyond the Dark: Night Watch in Asia. Developed by Atlantis Studio, the game is scheduled for release on October 22 with a retail price of 2480 yen including tax.
The game is designed exclusively for two-player cooperative play. It supports various connection methods, including local co-op, shared Joy-Con play, local network, and online multiplayer functionality.
Gameplay features an asymmetric exploration mechanic. One player acts as an explorer searching a mansion for clues to solve puzzles and escape before being caught by a creature called the Gloom. The second player operates from behind a camera, utilizing surveillance systems and documents to guide their partner, requiring constant communication to survive.
Additionally, actor Troy Baker is confirmed to be involved in the project. Details regarding his specific role in the game will be disclosed at a later date.
