Cyber Gadget has unveiled the CYBER 65W Type-C Retractable Cable Fast Charger, a new accessory designed for the Nintendo Switch 2. The product is scheduled for release on October 17 with a reference price of 4,950 yen.
The charger features a built-in retractable Type-C cable, a dedicated Type-C port, and a USB-A port that supports Quick Charge. It is engineered to power and charge both the Switch 2 and original Switch consoles, as well as various game controllers, and can function as an AC adapter for the Switch 2 and Switch docks.
Utilizing GaN (gallium nitride) semiconductor technology, the device offers a maximum output of 65W when the Type-C port is used independently. This material choice allows for a compact, lightweight design that minimizes heat generation while maintaining charging efficiency.
The charger supports input voltages ranging from 100V to 240V, making it suitable for international travel and business trips in addition to home use. It is compatible with smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
