Developers Double Stallion and Vendetta have announced their participation in the upcoming Steam Next Fest, scheduled to run from October 20 to October 27, 2026. During this event, they will showcase their action RPG, Surfpunk.
Set in a post-apocalyptic world where most of the surface is submerged, players take on the role of a Raider. Operating from a mothership called the Beastship, they must venture out to battle mysterious creatures known as Sumi, hunt for treasure, and attempt to return safely.
To coincide with the festival, an updated demo has been released. Key improvements include a complete overhaul of the blacksmithing system, the addition of new skills, and increased movement speed for solo players.
Alongside these mechanical changes, the developers have shared a new trailer highlighting the game's cooperative multiplayer features. This demo serves as an opportunity for players to experience the title before the official early access launch.
