Neos has announced that the Steam version of the board and card game Culdcept Begins will launch on October 28. The title is currently participating in the Steam Next Fest October Edition, where players can access a demo featuring the new battle map X.
This latest entry in the series, originally developed by Omiya Soft, refreshes the world, design, and user interface while maintaining the core gameplay. The Steam release introduces three new battle maps and various UI improvements, such as enhanced character visibility in map mode, better card selection controls, and clearer path branching indicators. These functional updates will also be provided as a free update for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 versions at a later date.
The release includes a limited-time free early purchase bonus and a Digital Deluxe Edition containing a complete card book, soundtrack, and other digital assets. Existing Switch owners can purchase the digital content separately. The early purchase bonus, which includes new book covers and playable avatars like Zenes and Najalan, is available from October 28 until December 27.
Additional features include ten new book cover designs and a voice-read function for the card encyclopedia. Furthermore, the game provides PC wallpapers and custom font data based on the Babrushka alphabet used in the game world.
