Sony Pictures is currently evaluating unconventional distribution plans for director Sam Mendes’ upcoming four-film project centered on The Beatles. The studio is considering a simultaneous release for all four movies in April 2028, potentially allowing audiences to view them in any preferred order.

To ensure parity among the band members, the studio is contemplating a unified reporting structure for box office receipts. By aggregating the financial returns of all four films, Sony aims to prevent any single biopic from being perceived as more successful than the others, avoiding scenarios where viewers might favor specific members over their bandmates.

Producer Pippa Harris noted that the team intends for the films to be experienced in theaters during the same period. While a four-pack ticket option is being explored, it remains subject to logistical coordination with theater chains. Harris suggested that viewers might consume the films weekly or over consecutive weekends.

The project features Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, and Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr. The extensive supporting cast includes Saoirse Ronan, Anna Sawai, and James Norton, among others.
