Developer Next Stage Inc. has officially released a playable demo for their upcoming action title, SLAM TANK. In this game, players take control of a tank to wage war against an artificial intelligence that has seized control of machinery across the globe.
The gameplay distinguishes itself through high-mobility mechanics, allowing players to perform drifts and aerial tricks. The tank's turret can be used to slash enemies, while boosters enable aerial dashes and stylish spinning maneuvers. Players can also utilize just-evasion techniques during combat.
Combat encounters feature a diverse range of opponents, including AI-equipped androids, excavators, massive trucks, and trains that travel off their tracks. A unique scoring system calculates points based on the total monetary value of the destruction caused by the player while rampaging through enemy territory.
While the title is currently in development, interested players can now add SLAM TANK to their digital wishlists to track its progress.
