Developer Housemarque has released the free Zenith update for the sci-fi shooter Saros. This content expansion introduces a new boss rush mode and various difficulty modifiers designed to accommodate both new players and experienced veterans.
The Overlord Rush mode, accessible via the Primary robot in the main hub, challenges players to defeat bosses organized into sets of three. This mode features dedicated leaderboards for tracking performance across these encounters.
New accessibility and difficulty settings allow for significant gameplay customization. Players can utilize a slow-motion feature with adjustable intensity or enable an auto-fire function to prioritize movement and dodging during combat.
The update expands the existing Carcosan Modifiers system with new options. These include Protection modifiers like the Corruption Melee Enhancement, alongside Trial Modifiers and ultra-hard endgame Eclipse Layers for increased challenge.
