Sasoriken-Games officially launched a playable demo for the PC title Makai Gunyu Kakyo on Steam as of October 21, 2026. The game follows a pair of siblings who awaken from a century-long slumber to find their father's castle in ruins.
The core gameplay revolves around a turn-based strategy system where players explore a demon realm devoid of a king. Players must interact with various monsters, listen to their troubles, and complete requests to earn their recognition.
A key mechanic involves weakening enemies to perform a "domination" maneuver. Successfully dominating a foe allows the player to recruit them as a controllable unit for the remainder of the battle, forcing strategic choices between defeating or capturing opponents.
Once players reclaim their territory, they can develop their lands and manage troops. This includes appointing monsters as "Demon Generals" to lead squads, allowing players to strategically defend or attack specific bases to expand their influence.
