A new PC mod for Red Dead Redemption 2, titled enRAGE, brings a dynamic Nemesis-style system to Rockstar's Western open world. Developed by modder nicklovin99, the project aims to make NPCs feel like recurring characters by granting them unique personalities, histories, and the ability to remember player actions.

The mod introduces complex interactions where NPCs develop grudges based on player behavior like robbing, insulting, or attacking them. These characters can evolve into persistent nemeses who seek revenge, even returning with scars from previous encounters. Additionally, the system tracks family ties, allowing relatives to pursue vengeance for fallen kin.

Beyond individual rivalries, enRAGE implements a faction system featuring eight outlaw groups and the U.S. Army. These factions manage their own territories, supplies, and leadership, engaging in independent conflicts. Players can influence these groups by attacking camps or interrogating captives, with major events documented in an in-game chronicle or local newspapers.

The mod is currently in early access, and the creator notes that users should anticipate bugs due to the complexity of the interconnected systems. It is exclusively available for the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 and is intended for use within the game's Story Mode.
