CLEARRAVE announced that the occult horror adventure game Resequence: The Orchard will be released on Steam on November 20. The title features a scenario written by Re,AER, known for their work on Mahou Shoujo no Majo Saiban.
Players assume the role of school counselor Kisuke Saito, who begins working at a school following his wife's disappearance. As he listens to students struggling with mysterious phenomena, he uncovers the truth behind these occurrences and his wife's vanishing. The game utilizes a visual novel format where choices lead to branching paths and multiple endings.
The game's atmosphere is built through unsettling visuals by fracoco and a narrative ensemble cast. More than five characters with illustrations appear in the game, including students such as Sogo Soyogi and Hironobu Kido.
A free demo is currently available on Steam, covering the beginning of the story with an estimated playtime of one hour. The game will be exhibited at the Digigame Expo 2026 in Akihabara on November 8. It is currently scheduled for a Japanese-only release, with plans to add other languages later.
