The Zenith update for Saros is now available on PlayStation 5, introducing significant content additions and gameplay adjustments. This free update aims to enhance replayability for existing players while providing new options for those seeking greater control over the game's demanding combat encounters.
New gameplay modes include Eclipse Layers, which serves as a New Game Plus feature, and Overlord Rush. The latter is a boss-rush mode that organizes bosses into sets of up to three, culminating in the Totality set, which features every boss in the game.
To improve accessibility, players can now reduce projectile speed and enable an automatic firing feature that triggers when a weapon is aimed at an enemy, though manual weapon reloading remains required. Additionally, the update introduces six new trophies to the game.
The release follows a trend of post-launch support seen in other action titles, with Housemarque aiming to balance increased difficulty for veterans with more accessible settings. The Zenith update is currently live for all PS5 users.
