The free Zenith update for Saros is now live on PlayStation 5, introducing significant content additions and gameplay adjustments. This update aims to provide fresh challenges for returning players while simultaneously improving the game's accessibility.
Key additions include the Eclipse Layers New Game Plus mode and Overlord Rush, a boss-focused challenge mode. Overlord Rush organizes bosses into sets of up to three, culminating in the Totality set, which features every boss in the game.
To assist with demanding combat, developers added new accessibility settings, such as the ability to reduce projectile speed and enable automatic firing when aiming at enemies. Manual reloading remains a requirement for players.
According to TheSixthAxis, the update also introduces six new trophies. The release follows a trend of post-launch content updates seen in other action titles, with Housemarque aiming to enhance replayability for the existing player base.
