ATTACK SHARK has officially announced the R5 TURBO, a new flagship wireless gaming mouse designed for competitive play. Building upon the R5 ULTRA, this model introduces upgraded hardware and a carbon fiber composite housing, with availability scheduled for October 23, 2026.
The device features an injection-molded carbon fiber shell weighing approximately 43 g (± 3 g) and utilizes a PixArt PAW3950MAX optical sensor. This sensor supports a DPI range of 1,200-60,000, tracking speeds up to 750 IPS, and 60G acceleration, alongside a three-level lift-off distance adjustment system.
Performance is driven by the Nordic nRF54LM20 MCU, enabling 8KHz polling rates for both wired and wireless modes. Internal testing indicates click latency as low as 0.168 ms. The mouse includes Omron optical switches rated for 100 million clicks and TTC Golden Wheel encoders for tactile feedback.
Connectivity options include wired, 2.4 GHz wireless, and Bluetooth, supported by a shark-fin-inspired 8K receiver. A 290 mAh battery provides up to 300 hours of usage at a 1K polling rate. Users can manage settings via cloud-based or standalone driver software.
