Publisher SNEG, in partnership with Wizards of the Coast, has announced the digital return of the 2001 turn-based RPG Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor. The title is scheduled to launch on PC via Steam and GOG on November 6.

The game features Dungeons & Dragons rules, allowing players to build a party of six to explore the elven ruins of Myth Drannor. It offers over 100 hours of gameplay, with options to engage in tactical turn-based combat or utilize a timed-turn style for faster pacing.

This re-release introduces modern enhancements, including widescreen support up to 4K, upscaled backgrounds, a reworked camera, and full controller support. The UI has been improved with a new action bar and tooltips, while adjustable combat speeds and numerous bug fixes aim to modernize the experience. Players can also toggle an optional “Legacy” mode to retain original visuals and gameplay.

A demo is currently available on Steam through October 26 for Steam Next Fest, with progress carrying over to the full release. The package also includes Steam Achievements, Cloud Saves, and Steam Deck support.
