Housemarque has released the Zenith update for its shooter Saros, introducing a variety of new gameplay features. The update includes a boss rush mode, New Game+ functionality, and additional modifiers to adjust the game's difficulty.
The new Overlord Rush mode allows players to battle bosses in a training simulation and compete on global leaderboards. It features multiple sets, including the Totality gauntlet, which challenges players to defeat all eight Overlords in one continuous run.
New Game+ introduces Eclipse Layers, where players navigate mysterious nodes in the Armor Matrix. During these segments, the protagonist Arjun wears a golden crown that glows more intensely as more trials are activated, also unlocking new lore entries.
Accessibility options have been expanded, allowing players to slow down projectiles or enable an Auto Fire setting. Additionally, motion sensor aiming is now available to provide more control flexibility for players.
