Remedy Entertainment's title Control Resonant has officially secured the Players' Choice award for September 2026. The game emerged as the community's favorite selection following a monthly poll conducted by the PlayStation Blog.
The competition for the monthly title was significant, featuring a diverse lineup of releases. Other notable games included in the selection pool were Marvel’s Wolverine, Dune: Awakening, and NBA 2K27.
The PlayStation Blog editorial team determines the nominees by curating a list of the month's most significant releases to seed the poll. Voters are encouraged to select the one game they would most highly recommend to a friend, with remakes qualifying for inclusion if they represent ambitious, large-scale rebuilds.
Following the conclusion of the voting period, the results are tallied and announced across social channels and the official blog. Players are now invited to share their predictions regarding which title might claim the top spot for October.
