Key information
PlayStation.Blog has officially announced that Control Resonant is the winner of the Players’ Choice award for September 2026. The title, developed by Remedy Entertainment, secured the top spot following a community vote.
The monthly competition features a selection of notable releases curated by the PlayStation.Blog editorial team. September saw a variety of new arrivals, including Marvel’s Wolverine, Dune: Awakening, and NBA 2K27, which were considered alongside the winning title.
The voting process relies on community participation, where users select their top recommendation from the curated list. While standard re-releases are excluded from consideration, the process explicitly includes ambitious, large-scale remakes such as Final Fantasy VII Remake.
Following the conclusion of the monthly poll, the results are tallied and shared across official social media channels and the PlayStation.Blog. Readers are currently invited to share their predictions for the October winner.
