Developer Landfall has officially announced that the cooperative climbing game PEAK is coming to consoles. The title is scheduled for release on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on October 22, 2026.
Originally launched on PC in June 2025, PEAK challenges up to four players to reach a mountain summit while coordinating through in-game chat. The PC version currently holds a Very Positive rating on Steam, with 93% of 6,969 reviews being favorable as of October 16, 2026.
The console versions will support cross-play functionality and include all previously released content updates. Additionally, a physical edition for PlayStation 5 is being prepared, which features the base game alongside a passport-themed collectible set that includes stickers for character customization.
Pre-orders for the physical PlayStation 5 version are currently open, though Landfall noted that shipments are expected to occur later this year. Because the official announcement did not specify a time zone, the exact release timing for the digital versions may vary by region.
