Neos announced on October 20, 2026, that the PC version of Culdcept Begins will officially launch on October 28. The standard edition is priced at 6380 yen including tax, while the digital deluxe edition, which includes a complete card book and soundtrack, costs 7581 yen including tax.
This latest entry in the Culdcept series, which previously arrived on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 in July, maintains the core fusion of board and card game mechanics. The title introduces refreshed designs, user interface elements, and world-building, tasking players with acting as "Scepters" who utilize strategy and luck to defeat rivals.
The PC release expands the experience with three unique battle maps and ten distinct book cover designs. Additionally, the card encyclopedia feature now includes a function that reads card names aloud using voice synthesis.
Players can currently access one of the new maps, titled "X," via the demo available during the Steam Next Fest. Neos plans to release a free update for the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 versions soon, which will provide content equivalent to the PC release.
