Released on September 24, 2026, the game represents Remedy's inaugural self-published project of this magnitude. Players control Dylan Faden within a paranatural Manhattan, utilizing supernatural powers and a shapeshifting melee weapon known as the Aberrant to locate his sister, Jesse Faden.
CEO Jean-Charles Gaudechon noted the title's success despite launching during a highly competitive period. While the game is praised for its bold ideas and signature style, reviewers suggest the experience features some rough edges despite the studio reaching new heights in gameplay.
The title is currently playable on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Developers are also actively working on a Mac version, with plans to continue supporting and expanding the CONTROL and Alan Wake franchises.
