Key information
Sega has launched a new update for PSO2 New Genesis ver.2 on October 21, 2026. The highlight is the limited-time quest Sweetie Panic '26, which invites up to eight players to explore the Halloween-themed Halphana Plains.
During the quest, players defeat enemies to collect candy, which can be exchanged for gifts at the deepest point of the map. Participants aim to reach the finish point while enjoying a new scenic spot featuring an impressive moon. Note that meseta boosts do not apply to this specific activity.
The update introduces new tasks rewarding titles and Reward Box Medals. These medals allow players to draw from the Reward Box Oct '26, offering Halloween accessories like witch hats and lanterns, plus 5th Anniversary Thankful Scratch Tickets. Additionally, the seasonal shop now features items such as Persona Masks and new build parts.
Players can also hunt for Rarelens Volt, a material required to upgrade the Legendary 5 Rarelens weapon series. The update is available until November 4, 2026, and includes various new scratch tickets, such as SG Support Item Select Oct '26 and the PSO2 Memories Oct '26 revival scratch.
