The indie roguelike action RPG Hell Clock has launched a new content update titled the Journey of Miracles. Unlike seasonal models in games like Diablo or Path of Exile, this update provides permanent access to its new features, ensuring players do not experience fear of missing out.
The update introduces Divine Blessings, which grant powerful buffs during combat encounters triggered by statues. These additions enable new character builds, such as gaining shrine benefits like increased movement speed or bonus experience points simply by consuming a potion.
Character progression is further expanded through new Relics that modify ability mechanics. One notable addition increases lightning damage while restricting projectiles to a straight line. Additionally, the update adds an underground crypt area featuring a new miniboss.
Players can toggle the Journey of Miracles on or off when starting a new campaign run, and it can be combined with the previous Journey of Nightmares. This optional system allows for flexible gameplay, catering to those who prefer playing in short, intermittent sessions.
