Developer Moon Games has provided a new preview video for its precision action RPG, No Rest for the Wicked. The update highlights a significant overhaul to the game's progression mechanics, which will be implemented in the upcoming 1.0 release.
The studio confirmed that the 1.0 launch has been delayed from October to March 2027. This extra time is being utilized to replace the existing stat-based point allocation system with a comprehensive class structure.
Under the new system, classes are tied to specific weapons. Players earn insight by using these weapons, which is then spent on class-specific abilities and traits. Characters can equip six traits—two offensive, two defensive, one utility, and one ascension—from a total of 24 available classes.
Additional features include Cerim Cores for direct stat boosts and a new faction system. By completing tasks for specific groups, players can unlock unique vendors, new traits, and other rewards as they increase their rank.
