Activision has confirmed the release schedule for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, which includes early access opportunities for those who purchase the title digitally. The full game is scheduled to launch globally on October 23 at midnight local time.
Players who secure a digital preorder gain early access to the campaign beginning October 16, followed by the DMZ extraction mode on October 20. While the specific unlock times for these early access periods remain unannounced by the publisher, PC preloading is currently available for users.
Technical requirements for the title include 115GB of storage space. Prospective players are directed to the official Steam page to review the complete system specifications necessary to run the game on their hardware.
Although some external sources speculate that the DMZ mode may unlock at 10 am PT, Activision has not provided official confirmation regarding these specific timing details. The publisher has indicated that further updates will be provided as the launch dates approach.
