Housemarque has launched the Zenith update for its title Saros. This free expansion aims to broaden the game's appeal while providing new content for dedicated players, following the game's positive critical reception.
The update introduces accessibility features, including a global speed setting that allows players to slow down action to better anticipate enemy patterns. Additionally, an optional auto-fire feature has been added, though the manual perfect reload mechanic remains unchanged.
For experienced players, the New Game+ mode, now called Ecliptic Strata, features ten new buffs and ten debuffs. Players must accumulate handicaps to progress, earning cosmetic rewards like golden armor and crowns. A Boss Rush mode, titled Sovereigns in Series, is also available with online leaderboards.
The Zenith update is currently available for all players, offering both increased accessibility and higher difficulty challenges for the community.
