Key information

An online modder known as Slurp Burgers has constructed a custom cyberdeck dubbed the Slurptop. Departing from common Raspberry Pi builds, this device utilizes the motherboard from a GMKtec M5 Ultra mini PC, which features an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U processor.

The build includes a 3D-printed shell housing a columnar-stagger ergonomic keyboard with MX-style switches, a central num pad, and an integrated trackball. Additionally, the lid features a hinged panel containing an XP Pen drawing tablet.

Power is supplied by a swappable 24 V Kobalt power tool battery, which provides approximately five hours of light productivity. To manage power safely, the creator utilized stock charging hardware and an off-the-shelf UPS switch, allowing the device to transition between wall power and battery usage without custom charging circuitry.

Aesthetic details include a rugged handle with an integrated OLED display and a bright green toggle switch for power. The full technical documentation for the project is currently available on the Slurp Burgers blog.
