Spanish developer MercurySteam has announced a comprehensive update to its visual identity and the launch of a new corporate website. Founded in 2002, the studio aims to improve communication with its player base and industry peers, acknowledging that it previously relied solely on its game library to represent the company.

The studio is currently preparing for the release of Metroid Ravenous, a 2D action-adventure and platforming title. Developed by MercurySteam and published by Nintendo, the game serves as a sequel to Metroid Dread. It continues the modern design philosophy established in Metroid: Samus Returns and Metroid Dread, featuring a more aggressive Samus Aran with a focus on melee combat while maintaining the series' signature labyrinthine exploration.

Metroid Ravenous is scheduled for release on January 28, 2027, as an exclusive title for the Nintendo Switch 2. According to reports, the game is expected to support performance up to 120 frames per second on the platform.

The new corporate website provides a retrospective of the studio's history, including titles like Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Scrapland, alongside information for prospective employees. CEO Enric Alvarez noted that the shift in communication strategy is intended to better share the studio's identity with fans.
