LOUD achieved a historic milestone by defeating Team Vitality 3-1 in the VALORANT Champions 2026 final. This victory marks the first time any organization has secured two world championship titles in the history of the esport.
The best-of-five series concluded after four maps, earning the Brazilian team a $1 million prize. Additionally, in-game leader Roberto “erde” Lobos received recognition as the tournament MVP for his performance throughout the event.
Esports Charts reported that the final reached 1.49 million Peak Viewers, a figure roughly 1.21% higher than the 2025 event. While this demonstrates stability, it remains below the record 1.6 million concurrent viewers set during VCT 2024: Masters Madrid.
This tournament concludes the current VCT format. Riot Games and its partners will use these audience metrics as a benchmark before the circuit transitions to a more open ecosystem featuring additional tournaments in 2027.
