Key information

Publisher Solarsuit Games and developer Amortiz Games have launched a playable demo for the upcoming PC title Leviathan: Rhino. The game is currently featured as part of the Steam Next Fest event.

Set in a small village, this first-person existential horror game follows an elderly man named Petro. Players spend their final days waiting for the arrival of a massive creature known as the Leviathan, engaging in mundane tasks like feeding cattle and conversing with neighbors.

The narrative focuses on themes of loneliness, loss, and inevitable fate rather than traditional combat or escape mechanics. In this world, the Leviathan is an unstoppable disaster, and the core gameplay centers on maintaining daily life despite the approaching end.

The demo provides approximately 30 minutes of gameplay, covering the opening sequence and initial character interactions. The full version of Leviathan: Rhino is scheduled for release on November 7, 2026, with support for the Japanese language.
