Key information

Cygames has officially canceled the Umamusume: Pretty Derby 7th Event: The Stage concerts previously scheduled for the LA Peacock Theater. The performances, which were set to take place between October 22-23, 2026, were scrapped after the current US administration failed to approve visa applications submitted over six months ago.

The cancellation stems from the unique nature of the production, which relies on specific voice actresses to perform the game's songs. Because these performers are integral to the characters they portray, such as Machico as Tokai Teio and Tomoyo Takayanagi as Oguri Cap, Cygames could not simply substitute the cast members to bypass the entry requirements.

This situation contrasts with the Wuthering Waves concert at the same venue on October 17, 2026, where organizers managed to secure a replacement performer when faced with similar visa complications. Cygames confirmed that such an alternative was not viable for their event, necessitating a full cancellation and the issuance of refunds for both physical and streaming tickets.

Despite the loss of the Los Angeles dates, the 7th Event: The Stage tour remains scheduled for future stops in London, Seoul, and Yokohama. Specific dates for these remaining international performances have not yet been announced by the developer.
