Lidl has introduced the TP-Link RE300 WiFi repeater as an affordable solution for improving home network coverage. The device is currently available for 29,99 euros, offering a straightforward installation process for users seeking to eliminate connectivity dead zones without complex setup requirements.
The hardware features dual-band connectivity, supporting both 2,4 and 5 GHz frequencies. It provides a combined speed of up to 1.200 Mbps, with 300 Mbit/s on the 2,4 GHz band and 867 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band, which is suitable for daily tasks and streaming content.
Installation is designed to be user-friendly, utilizing the WPS button on both the repeater and the router for synchronization. Furthermore, the device supports TP-Link OneMesh technology, allowing users with compatible routers to establish a unified network that shares a single name and password.
Due to the limited duration of Lidl's promotional offers, an alternative model, the TP-Link RE330, is available for 34,99 euros. This version includes an Ethernet port, enabling a direct wired connection for devices such as gaming consoles, and supports EasyMesh technology.
