Katsuhiro Harada, the former head of the Tekken series and current CEO of SNK Corporation's VS Studio, has expressed shock regarding recent riots in France. The developer specifically addressed the looting of a Micromania retail store located in Nice, which he had previously visited.

The incident gained significant attention after footage circulated on social media showing a Micromania employee named Pierre attempting to block rioters from entering the store on Avenue Jean-Médecin. During the confrontation, Pierre was struck and knocked to the ground.

Despite the viral nature of the footage, Pierre stated to M6 that he does not consider himself a hero, noting that he was simply defending his workplace. He highlighted that other local businesses, including Manga Story, Hobby One Repar, and Sat Elite in Paris, also suffered damages during the unrest.

Harada praised the retail chain for its long-standing support of his work. Reflecting on the violence witnessed over the past two weeks, the developer questioned the nature of the events, asking what is happening in the country.
