Key information
Intel has released its latest Arc GPU graphics drivers, version 101.9150 WHQL. This update focuses on delivering performance improvements across various titles for systems equipped with Intel Core Ultra Series 2 and Intel Arc B-Series hardware.
For Intel Core Ultra Series 2 platforms, the driver provides significant frame rate uplifts in several DirectX 12 titles. Notable gains include up to 31% in Resident Evil Requiem at 1080p Medium settings and up to 18% in Assassin's Creed Shadows at the same resolution. Other titles, such as Strange Brigade and Assassin's Creed Valhalla, also see double-digit percentage improvements.
The update also addresses performance for Intel Arc B-Series GPUs, offering up to 6% average FPS increases in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and MONSTER HUNTER RISE at 1440p High settings. Intel Core Ultra Series 3 systems receive a 5% boost in F1 25 at 1080p Medium settings.
Despite these enhancements, the release notes identify several known issues. Users may encounter application crashes in titles like Mafia: The Old Country, Planet Zoo 2, and Arena Breakout Infinite. Additionally, some users might experience flickering tree shadows in World of Warcraft when raytracing is enabled, or a blank screen on launch when playing Stormgate.
