The animated film Accel World: Infinite Burst is scheduled for a nationwide release in Taiwan on October 23. Featuring an original story penned by author Reki Kawahara, the movie promises to elevate the visual intensity of virtual combat to new heights for fans of the series.
The narrative follows Arita Haruyuki, a high school student who encounters the mysterious Brain Burst software under the guidance of the student council vice president, Kuroyukihime. As the protagonist transforms into Silver Crow, he faces a catastrophic threat where a dark mist and natural disasters jeopardize the system rules of the accelerated world.
Distributor Muse Communication highlights that the big-screen experience offers immersive sensory details and high-impact combat sequences that surpass the limitations of the original television animation. This theatrical debut marks a significant milestone, as the film arrives in cinemas a decade after the franchise's inception.
To celebrate the release, Muse Communication is offering a Kuroyukihime A3 poster to customers who purchase 2D tickets between October 23 and October 29. Additionally, special screenings are scheduled for October 31 across northern, central, and southern Taiwan, with ticket sales beginning on October 28, accompanied by a set of four exclusive craft posters.
