On October 20, 2026, publisher Nacon launched a playable demo for the upcoming title Hunting Simulator 3. This release coincides with the ongoing Steam Next Fest event hosted on the Steam platform.
The game features an open-world environment where players utilize all-terrain vehicles to explore diverse landscapes, ranging from the Rocky Mountains in Colorado to the vast prairies of Texas. The simulation includes over 40 distinct animal species that grow and reproduce over time, managed by a proprietary Eco-Sim system designed to replicate realistic animal behavior.
Players have access to a variety of authentic equipment, including precision-modeled rifles, shotguns, bows, and crossbows, all featuring realistic ballistics and sound design. Strategic tools such as decoys, lures, and camouflage observation posts are also available to assist in hunting efforts.
The demo provides access to the game's headquarters, a shooting range, and a portion of the Colorado map. Users can complete the initial mission, titled Rabbit Incident, and hunt three species of animals. The full version of the game is scheduled for release on October 29.
