Obtaining the best ending in Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse requires players to complete several cryptic tasks, including acquiring the Judge Arcana card. While not strictly necessary to finish the game, this process involves navigating complex puzzles throughout Dracula's castle.
To begin the process, players must travel to the Court of Justice after exiting the Catacombs of Paris. By heading right from the bridge area and ascending the multi-storey building, players will locate the Palace of Justice, which houses the tree and scales required for the test.
Success requires significant character growth, specifically reaching a threshold of 16 health and 16 mana upgrades. This results in a maximum HP and MP total of 180, allowing Rose to sacrifice enough resources to balance the scales.
Once the requirements are met, players must hold the RB/RT button to absorb evil from the scales until they align. This action awakens the tree, granting the player the Arcana spell.
