The anime series The Detective Is Already Dead has announced that Hololive VTuber Kazama Iroha will make a guest appearance as herself in the upcoming third episode of the second season. Official promotional materials have already provided a preview screenshot of her cameo.
This collaboration was made possible because the character designer for Kazama Iroha is the same artist, Umibozu, who serves as the character designer and light novel illustrator for The Detective Is Already Dead.
The series follows Kimihiko Kimizuka, a high school student who becomes the assistant to a self-proclaimed detective named Siesta after meeting her on a plane. The narrative unfolds across two timelines, detailing their past mysteries and the aftermath of Siesta's death four years later.
Fans can watch the third episode starting on 10/21 (Wednesday), when it begins its scheduled broadcast and streaming release.
