WeirdCo has officially announced the first expansion for its Cyberpunk trading card game, titled Edgerunners: Burn Bright. This upcoming set is scheduled for a Spring 2027 release following the base game's record-breaking performance on Kickstarter.
The expansion will incorporate various characters, locations, and iconic moments from the Netflix anime series. Additionally, the set will feature new gameplay mechanics and introduce a new chase rarity tier, though specific details regarding these additions remain undisclosed by the publisher.
Exclusive artwork reveals the inclusion of the L-69 Zhuo, a two-handed shotgun used by the character Maine. While the card's specific abilities are currently unknown, it is anticipated to function as a powerful Gear card that may provide unique bonuses when equipped to Maine.
