The available demos feature diverse mechanics. Scramble Knights Online offers bite-sized dungeon delves with progress carrying over to early access, while Swordeye focuses on hardcore PvPvE extraction. Other titles include the arena shooter RingOut, which replaces traditional health bars with a heat-based knockout system, and Surfpunk, an ARPG featuring a reworked forge and new skills.
Several developers have disclosed the use of generative AI in their projects. World of Slime utilized AI for 2-D image assistance, while Never Wither combines AI-generated designs with human revisions. Additionally, RingOut used AI for music, and Grimrain employed it for logo creation. Players are encouraged to review these disclosures when deciding which demos to download.
The event includes various cooperative and open-world experiences. ArcheAge Chronicles provides approximately two to three hours of quest content, and Clash of Adventurers features a seamless open world with distinct player roles. Meanwhile, titles like Haunted Paws and Wyldheart emphasize cooperative gameplay, with the latter highlighting drop-in, drop-out multiplayer functionality.
