Key information

Sony is set to remove several titles from the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium game catalogs. Among the notable games departing the service are Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, which will no longer be accessible to subscribers starting November 17.

The removal affects only the titles provided through the subscription service, meaning users will not lose access to games they personally own. However, once the deadline passes, these specific titles will become unplayable even if they remain downloaded on a user's console, unless the player chooses to purchase them individually.

Additional titles scheduled for removal include Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break, Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair, Rapala Fishing Pro Series, Yet Another Zombie Defense HD, and The Talos Principle 2.

The departure of the Rockstar Games titles occurs just two days before the scheduled launch of GTA 6. While these games are leaving, Sony has recently refreshed the catalog with other additions, such as Horizon Forbidden West and Mafia: The Old Country.
