Rockstar Games has officially debuted the launch trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6. This promotional footage arrives shortly before the title's scheduled release on 19th November.
The video highlights various gameplay elements, including high-stakes heists and a helicopter escape. It also features an intimate scene between the two protagonists, potentially confirming rumors regarding nudity. Additional details suggest narrative elements, such as an ankle monitor on the character Lucia and a reverse-charged phone call involving Jason, which may imply a history of incarceration.
Visuals showcase The Keys, a region previously unseen in earlier promotional materials. The trailer is accompanied by the track "Flower in a Hurricane" by Justice, featuring collaborations with Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard.
The release occurs amidst an ongoing employment tribunal in Glasgow and follows recent gameplay leaks attributed to the hacker Cyberleek. The game is confirmed for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, with the trailer footage reportedly captured on PlayStation 5 hardware.
