Game Freak has officially announced the conclusion of major content updates for Beast of Reincarnation. Following its release on August 4, the studio confirmed that the title has entered its final phase of development support.
The final major patch for the game is scheduled for October 19. While significant content additions are ending, the developer stated that they will continue to address critical bugs if necessary, and players may still utilize the Fictions support site to report issues or provide feedback.
The decision to halt updates follows the game's performance, as the PC version recently recorded only 84 active players. This project marked a departure for the Japanese studio, which is primarily recognized for its work on the Pokémon franchise.
Looking ahead, Game Freak is shifting its focus toward the development of Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves. These next-generation titles are intended for the Switch 2 and are currently expected to launch toward the end of next year.
