GALAX has officially teased the upcoming launch of its GeForce RTX 5090 Hall of Fame Edition graphics card. Scheduled for release on October 22, this model builds upon the company's signature white aesthetic by incorporating Swarovski crystals directly into the GPU shroud.
The hardware is designed to provide substantial power headroom, featuring dual 12V-2×6 power connectors. While GALAX previously utilized this power configuration for its GeForce RTX 5090D HOF Edition, this new iteration marks the first time an overclocking-focused card receives this specific luxury treatment.
The product is positioned as a high-end collectible. This distinction is notable given that standard GeForce RTX 5090 units are currently experiencing severe market shortages, with some retail prices reaching as high as $8,000 despite an official $1,999 MSRP.
NVIDIA has confirmed that shipments of the RTX 5090 will continue, refuting claims of discontinuation. Due to the integration of Swarovski crystals and the existing premium market conditions, the HOF Edition is expected to command an even higher price point than standard models.
