The survival city builder Frostpunk, originally released in 2018 by 11 bit studios, is now available on Nintendo Switch. The title also features full support for the Nintendo Switch 2, with the official launch occurring on October 19.
Players assume the role of a leader tasked with managing a city during a global catastrophe. Core mechanics involve making difficult moral decisions, establishing laws for healthcare and labor, and researching new technologies to ensure the survival of humanity in a frozen wasteland.
The game offers various ways to interact with the environment, including sending expeditions into the Frostlands to secure resources. Users can also engage with Endless Mode for replayability or utilize Serenity Mode to prioritize construction over survival pressure.
Two versions are currently available for purchase. The base game is offered with a 30% launch discount, while the Complete Edition includes three DLC packs—The Rifts, The Last Autumn, and On The Edge—at a 35% launch discount.
