This AI-driven feature allows the in-game commentators, Scotty and June, to vocalize a player's specific username during gameplay. The system reacts to various match events, including successful eliminations, cash-in or cash-out actions, and player deaths.
Players retain the option to switch to an anonymous mode, which maintains the commentary flow without explicitly stating their name. While the game previously faced criticism regarding its AI performance, this implementation is being highlighted as a positive application of the technology.
The update is currently available for those playing on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam. This feature aims to provide a more personalized experience by reacting directly to individual player situations in real-time.
