Square Enix has officially unveiled a 2027 calendar commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Final Fantasy franchise. The company provided a preview of the artwork for the first three months, with plans to reveal the remaining nine months through its Japanese social media channels before the product launches in Japan on November 19, 2026.
The A4-sized calendar features a dual-layout design suitable for wall mounting or desk display, placing the calendar dates at the bottom and artwork at the top. January 2027 showcases Terra from Final Fantasy VI with her Magitek armor. February 2027 depicts Squall Leonhart and Seifer Almasy from Final Fantasy VIII alongside their respective gunblades, Revolver and Hyperion. March 2027 features Aerith Gainsborough and Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII standing in a field of tulips.
Currently, pre-orders are restricted to the Japanese e-Store, priced at 4,950 yen, which is approximately $31. While Square Enix has not announced a global release, the preview images contain English text, suggesting potential accessibility for international fans via proxy services.
