Publisher NEOWIZ and developer JINO Games have launched a new demo for the narrative puzzle-adventure game Goodbye Seoul as part of the Steam Next Fest. The title, which features a 2.5D pixel art style, follows the protagonist Ro-yeon as she searches for clues regarding a space evacuation plan in a version of Seoul facing an impending asteroid impact.
The updated demo incorporates feedback gathered from previous testing phases to refine puzzle design, exploration, and visual presentation. Players can now access previously unreleased story areas and encounter new puzzles while navigating the city. The developers have also enhanced environmental sound effects and adjusted background assets to deepen narrative immersion.
JINO Games representative Kim Jin-ho stated that the team is actively utilizing player feedback to polish the experience. The studio aims to improve overall quality and playability, ensuring that even those who participated in earlier tests will find fresh content in this latest version.
The free demo is available for a limited time during the Steam Next Fest, running from October 20 to October 27.
