The Steam Next Fest has officially commenced, allowing PC users to explore upcoming titles until October 26 at 19:00 Spanish time. While the event is in its early stages, three specific demos have emerged as the most popular among the platform's user base.
ArcheAge Chronicles, described as an MMORPG evolution, leads interest with a peak of 20,507 concurrent players. This open-world adventure demo introduces PvP combat and a new dungeon playable across four classes, building anticipation for its upcoming early access release.
Other notable titles include Loftia, a cozy multiplayer game featuring farming, construction, and exploration, and just volleyball, a sports title supporting matches ranging from 1v1 to 6v6. Loftia allows players to carry over progress, including completed missions and items, into its early access launch on November 3. Meanwhile, just volleyball is scheduled for a full release on November 4.
Despite the popularity of these demos, the event has faced criticism from the community regarding the high volume of titles utilizing artificial intelligence tools. Some users have requested that Steam implement filters to hide these AI-generated projects.
